With over 1,000 acres of rolling hay meadows and pastures, we raise our cattle and sheep on a 100% grass and legume diet that includes no grain, antibiotics, growth hormones or animal by-products. In addition to beef and lamb, we raise pastured chickens and gather eggs from our pastured laying hens. We’ve recently added heritage breed pigs and an apiary to the farm. Our grass-fed pasture system is better for the animals and the environment. Most important, our animals live naturally on the pastures of our farm, grazing the forages growing in our fields. In the summer we harvest the excess pasture and feed it as hay in the winter. The animal wastes return to the land and become nutrients for the next grass cycle.
